Passwords & Privacy

In the world we live in today privacy and security in computers is one of the most important things in our lives to be secure. As Apple lovers here at Tec Kids we have found that, unlike other companies, Apple’s view is ‘Privacy is an essential human right’ this is what they say:

Once you’ve had a look at that, we’ll think about passwords. There are many things to think about when it comes to passwords: don’t reuse across websites, strength e.t.c. One thing Apple does is it provides a ‘Keychain’ that keeps all your passwords secure and generates secure ones for you. If when making accounts before you didn’t use the suggested passwords but you did save your passwords then do this to change them:

Go to settings on your iPhone and find this:

Click on it then in the screen it shows click on this:

Enter that screen with Touch ID or Face ID. Click on a website with a warning symbol on it then press:

It will take you to the site to change your password. change it and use the generated password and save it to your keychain. That website is now secured! Repeat on each un-secure website to secure.

That’s it for this week!
